Sacred Warrior was a late 80s 'hair metal' band. Most early Christian heavy metal bands were 'children of Stryper,' but Sacred Warrior distinguished themselves on early albums with a sound similar to Iron Maiden, and on later albums took their sound in an operatic direction of acts like Queensryche. Their third recording was originally released in 1990 on Intense Records, and re-issued on a Dutch label in 2006. These are not original issue copies. It returned to the full-bore metal sound of their debut. It is a full-blown concept album that traces the stories of three main characters struggling to overcome the emotional, physical, and sexual abuse of their past. Songs include: 'No Happy Endings,' 'Little Secrets,' 'Standing Free,' 'Are You Ready,' 'Minister By Night,' 'Miss Linda,' 'In the Night,' 'Warriors,' 'Wicked Generation,' and 'War Torn Hero.' 10 songs Going, going, almost gone.
