Rivel Records released their debut recording mid-January, 2007. Of the 30 or so recordings previously released on Rivel Records this is the hardest so far. This compares favorably with the finest melodic death metal available on the scene at this time, driven by Jani Stefanovic (DivineFire and Essence Of Sorrow) and Christian Alvestam (Scar Symmetry). Fans of Scar Symmetry, Arch Enemy, Children Of Bodom, Soilwork, and Testament will join the legions of Japanese fans lucky enough to see them perform live and be awed by their allegiance to The Almighty rather than The Great Deceiver.
Early in 2007 Rivel Records released this collaboration by Jani Stefanovic (Divinefire, Renascent, Essence of Sorrow, ex-Crimson Moonlight, Mehida) and Christian Alvestam (Scar Symmetry, Unmoored, Torchbearer, Quest of Aidance, Incapacity). In a somewhat similar vein to that of Divinefire, "Your Demons, Their Angels" is a heavily melodic death metal production. Top-notch harmonious clean vocals and growl vocals lead this bombastic album to be one that should not be passed up. Not only is the cover artwork totally amazing, but the guitar work, nuclear blasting drum work, and hammering in your face metal approach is outstanding to boot! If there was a surprise album from 2007 that every true metal head should have in their collection, it is Miseration's debut release! No doubt about it! If you don't have it, better get it now! With a bold message of eternal truth and powerfully divine metal proclamation through and through, Miseration is a must have for fans of Divinefire, Narnia, Oratorio, Crimson Moonlight, Renascent, Essence of Sorrow, and secular acts like Children of Bodom, Testament, Wintersun, Arch Enemy, and Scar Symmetry.
