Idle Cure's first and last records are considered by critics their best. This Southern California studio band had good day jobs, so did not tour much or far from home, but that didn't stop Frontline Records from signing them and releasing four albums and a premature 'best of.' They appealed to fans of Foreigner and Def Leppard, whose style they perfected, but with values consistent with the Christian faith. The band released Eclipse on Salt Music in 1994, an indie label that soon went under, two years after their last album for Frontline. Dan Huff (White Heart, Giant, The Front) adds guitar heroics, and a number of other guest stars add their touch to appeal to fans of White Heart and Petra. Songs include: 'What's Your Point Of View?,' 'Pour Out My Soul,' 'Two Hearts,' 'Never Say Goodbye,' 'Burning Gomorrah,' 'Living Water,' 'Shake It Up,' 'Merciful Man,' 'The Only Thing' and 'Bring Me Through the Day.' 10 songs TT 43:49 Going, going, almost gone.
